Become A Lot More Productive with A Faster Windows XP

A slow PC should be ancient history. In this day of innovations and technology, having a slow PC will give you the idea of living through ancient times. It is for this reason that individual always try to look  how to speed up their computers.

If you are experiencing this, then this is the correct place. Its true that there are several ways involve in speeding up a PC. But then again, these uncomplicated sacrifices are always worth it.

Here are some ways to speed up my Windows:

> Getting bored with the menu delays is really annoying. Cut down the time to load menu transitions through right clicking your desktop. Click Properties and Select the Effects tab. Deselect the Animate windows menu lists. For those who use Windows XP, this can be done by right-clicking on the desktop, selecting Properties, choosing the Appearance tab, selecting the Effects option and unchoose Use the following transition effects for menus and tooltips, then Click OK.

> Speed up Windows Start Up by deleting out the programs you dont use at start-up. For those who use Windows 98, this could be done by means of Start menu and clicking Run. Type in MSConfig.exe and hit OK button select the Start up tab then deselect the programs you choose to disablethroughout the startup. As you see, you may be able to speed start up Windows if you cut down the programs and applications that your PC needs to run.

> Defrag may be an old school process but it doesnt fail to help anyone who has speed problems. search for the defrag option under your System Tools menu from the Accessories or Start Tab. Be sure that you provide a time for defragging. Running various programs as the same time as defragging limits the process itself.

> Selecting to install your software would be best if you always encounter script and other minor errors. Run a virus scan before you back up all of your important files Also, be sure that you have a back up copy of your harware drives before erasing files from your hard drvies Installing again your application could run for as long as an hour or more.

> Removing programs that you do not use. Programs, even if you are using them or not, eat up space in your hard disk. If you arent utilizing them, then remove them. computer bugs
